ArchiCAD Tip - Drawing Tool vs. Figure Tool

In ArchiCAD 10, the Drawing tool was released as a means of adding images/documents to an ArchiCAD project.
This new tool was considered a replacement for the Figure tool.

The downside of the Figure tool was always that it embedded images thus made file sizes very big.
Unfortunately, some users still rely on the Figure tool as they are not aware of the benefits of the Drawing Tool.

A comparison of the two tools can be seen on the following site;
http://www.archicadwiki.com/Difference%20between%20Drawing%20and%20Figure%20Tools

It is useful to know what the differences are, and (in my own opinion) why you should be using the Drawing Tool and not using the Figure Tool anymore!!
